Abstract
This note presents a formula for estimating the temperature of a distr ibuted resistor or resistor chain that is immersed in a dielectric med ium, which in turn is surrounded by a heat reservoir. An example compu tation from an actual instrument is included. (C) 1996 American Instit ute of Physics.
