Abstract
Measurements of the pressure-composition isotherm of the C15 Laves Pha se compound HfV2-H were carried out. A clear drop of the equilibrium p ressure occurs at a concentration of 0.55 [H]/[M], which implies a dra stic first order phase change of the host metal. Hysteresis effects we re also observed when desorbing.
