Abstract
The electrochemical properties of RENi(5-x)M(x) (M = Co, Mn, Ti) hydro gen storage alloys with different compositions of rare earth component s (RE = La1-x-y-zCexNdyPrz) were systematically examined. The results showed that La, Ce, Nd and Pr all had big effects on the electrode per formance. A mathematical-methodological approach to compositions was u sed and the results showed that all had the combined effect on the ele ctrode properties. A computer program was adopted to draw out isograph s including the isodischarge capacity, iso-high-rate dischargeability and isocycle life of multicomponent alloy electrodes vs. the compositi on of quasi-ternary rare earth elements.
