2-STAGE METAL HYDRIDE HEAT TRANSFORMER LABORATORY MODEL

Metal hydrides can be utilized advantageously as working materials in a number of devices which can contribute significantly to an environme ntally clean technology. Among others, there are heat transformers whi ch allow us to use low quality thermal energy (e.g. waste heat) to gen erate high quality thermal energy or cold. This paper gives a detailed description of a heat transformer development for industrial applicat ion.
