Abstract
We propose a new version of the HLLEM approximate Riemann solver where local non diffusive coefficients are calculated to have robustness an d accuracy in the obtained scheme. We introduce the concept of R-stabi lity, properly satisfied by our method, which garantees its good behav ior in known difficult situations. Numerical results are presented to demonstrate the efficiency of our approach.
