Abstract
The authors propose a flow-based edge relaxation algorithm which can e liminate the unrealisable edge patterns that may arise in the non-dire ctional edge relaxation process. The experimental results showed that the detected edges are more reliable than those found by the non-direc tional edge relaxation algorithm [1].
