This article presents epidemiological data collected by the CNITV (Nat
ional Information Center in Veterinary Toxicology) of Toulouse during
the year 1994. The center is mainly consulted by veterinary practition
ers of the south-west area, and in a lesser extent by private persons
(pet owners) and public or private organizations (anti-poisons centers
...). We are called in most cases for domestic carnivorous, dogs parti
cularly. The most incriminated toxics are pesticides and drugs.
