Abstract
The paper considers the application efficiency of low-capacity superco nduct ing magnetic energy storage systems for improvement of the dynam ic stability of some Russian regional electrical power systems. Tentat ive calculation of design characteristics for the main elements of the base capacity storage is carried out.
