The antiferromagnetic structure with the wave vector K=[OO1/2], corres
ponding to one prong of a three-pronged star {K-10} in a simple cubic
lattice Gamma(C) is realized at atomic ordering in alloys Fe(Pd(1-x)AU
(x))(3) in the range 0.133 < x < 0.4. The magnetic moments of the Fe a
toms are oriented antiparallel to the direction [001]. Their values de
pend on the Au concentration in the alloy. The magnetic phase diagram
of these alloys, where the coexistence of ferro- and antiferromagnetis
m is discussed in the framework of noncollinear magnetic structures, w
as determined. (C) 1996 American Institute of Physics.
