Abstract
Six taxoids 2-deacetoxytaxinine J (1), baccatin IV (2), 1 beta-hydroxy baccatin I (3), brevifoliol (4), 2 alpha-acetoxybrevifoliol (5) and 13 alpha-acetoxybrevifoliol (6) have been isolated from the needles and stem bark of Taxus wallichiana. The isolated yield and distribution of these taxoids in the needles and stem bark of plant material are also summarized.
