Dehydrogenation of coal-tar pitch with sulphur influences the behaviou
r of pitch in subsequent carbonization. The carbon yield gets up and c
hemorheological property changes. Conditions for mesophase formulation
are worse because of an increasing viscosity. In extreme case the sol
idification is done during the dehydrogenation by sulphur. We can cont
