Abstract
The ground-state properties of odd-A N and F isotopes are calculated u sing the nonlinear relativistic mean-field theory with NL-SH and NL1 f orce parameters. Reasonable agreement with experimental data of bindin g energies is achieved even for nuclei near the neutron-drip line. Neu tron halos in N-23 and F-25,F-27,F-29 are predicted.
