Abstract
Rhopalosiphum laconae NEW SPECIES is described from adult females, bot h winged and wingless morphs. This aphid is endemic to the coastal pla in of North Carolina, where its sole host is the cattail (Typha spp.). Photomicrographs of both life cycle morphs are provided.
