The topic of sexuality education for youth or what society reaches our
youth about their sexuality, is a subject of paramount importance. Mo
st states have some form of comprehensive sexuality education managed
at the stare level. Most American adolescents, adults, educators, and
parents support sexuality education in the public schools. This paper
reviews the literature on sexuality education for youth and concludes
that carefully structured sexuality education programs can modify adol
escents' sexual behavior and increase adolescents' understanding of mo
ral behavior.
