Abstract
Conflicts of interest cause increasing problems for lawyers and their clients, particularly lawyers practicing in large firms and their corp orate clients. The Conflicts of Interest Task Force of the American Ba r Association Section of Business Law has prepared a Memorandum that a ddresses a number of the conflict of interest issues that are most tro ublesome in today's law practice. The Memorandum suggests one or more written agreements to be signed by lawyers and their clients to resolv e these issues before they arise and contains forms to handle some of the issues and procedures.
