Tee. Grams et al., HIGH TEMPERATURE-ADAPTED PLANTS OF KALANCHOE-DAIGREMONTIANA SHOW CHANGES IN TEMPERATURE-DEPENDENCE OF THE ENDOGENOUS CAM RHYTHM, Journal of Experimental Botany, 46(293), 1995, pp. 1927-1929
Plants of the CAM species Kalanchoe daigremontiana grown at elevated t
emperatures (34/25 degrees C day/night) did not show endogenous net CO
2-exchange rhythm at 34 degrees C whereas at 30-32 degrees C the rhyth
m was present. In contrast, the endogenous rhythm never occurs above 3
0 degrees C in plants grown at 25/15 degrees C day/night.
