Abstract
An important generalization of the ''twofold description'' of porous m edia is described. It consists of the consideration of the mutal inter action of bonds (capillaries, passages) meeting at a commnon site (cav ity, antrum). Approximate and exact treatments are developed, exemplif ied, and compared.
