Abstract
Diet of the Smooth Indian Otter (Lutra perspicillata) was studied by a nalyzing seats collected from banks and surrounding of the deeper pond s of Keoladeo National Park from November 1986 to October 1987. Fish w ere the main prey throughout the year. Other prey items included mollu scs, insects and birds. Molluscs were present in the diet only during summer while birds and insects were eaten during the monsoon and winte r.
