Finite arrays of wire antennas ave analyzed. Reflection coefficients a
nd input impedance magnitudes are calculated for a dipole array with o
r without a ground plane. The numerical results are calculated by two
methods: An element-by-element approach and a perturbation technique.
The latter is based on an infinite-array approximation approach, where
the edge effects ave taken into account by a perturbation technique.
This method allows us to study medium and large arrays of radiators. (
