Abstract
This paper surveys the human factors literature that focuses upon self -report evaluations of visual fatigue resulting from use of a visual d isplay unit. The range of factors impacting upon such self-report data is considered along with the validity of questionnaire results as the y may relate to objective physiological indices of visual fatigue.
