Abstract
The present status of the field-theoretic renormalization-group (RG) a pproach to finite-size effects in He-4 near the superfluid transition is reviewed. The perturbation theory is discussed for periodic and Dir ichlet boundary conditions. Results of RG calculations of the specific heat, the superfluid density and the thermal resistance near T lambda are presented and compared with experimental data
