Abstract
Principal data from the literature on the rate of food passage through the digestive tract of rodents have been reviewed. Some unconventiona l methods have been approbated, using the great derbil, and compared w ith the previous results obtained using other rodent species. The rist rictions and advantages of the discussed and approbated technics have been emphasized.
