Abstract
We report the results of plasticity studies on dilute mixtures of Ne i n normal hydrogen under uniaxial extension at liquid helium temperatur es for the neon fractions 0.01 and 0.001% Stress-strain curves are obt ained and the respective yield stresses determined. A pronounced plast ifying effect of neon impurities has been found.
