Abstract
This paper introduces a new averaging method for PWM de-de converters which yields averaged models that are switching frequency dependent. T he new models are obtained by using periodic ripple functions to impro ve the averaging approximation. Two important benefits are the correct ion of de offset error in steady-state and the modeling of switching f requency effects on closed-loop performance and stability.
