Abstract
Thermal [3 + 2] cycloaddition of C-60 with alpha-silylamine derivative s proceeds smoothly under neutral conditions to afford fullerene-fused pyrrolidines and 1-pyrrolines in moderate to good yields. The new met hods are effective for constructing fullerene derivatives containing b ulky aryl-substituents.
