Abstract
The IR and polarised Raman spectra of N2H5H2PO4 have been recorded and analysed. In the crystal the symmetry of the orthophosphate ion is fo und to be reduced from T-d to C-1 through S-4. Hydrogen bonding of the groups NH3+ and NH2 through the oxygen of the H2PO4 group is consider able.
