For semicontinuous, countercurrent and cocurrent ozonation reactors, t
he mathematical models and parameter estimation procedures are present
ed. Estimation of ozonation reaction kinetic, ozone and pollutant mass
transfer and phase equilibrium coefficients are illustrated by severa
l computer runs. The required experimental data and factors influencin
g their errors are discussed. Estimation of coefficients for the mathe
matical model of the ozonation process is possible from a gas-liquid s
emibatch reactor data with good accuracy.
