Abstract
It is shown that Ramanujan-type continuous measures for a hierarchy of (4) phi(3) biorthogonal rational functions can be systematically buil t from simple cases of the Rogers-Szego (for 0 < q < 1) and Stieltjes- Wigert (for q > 1) polynomials by using the Berg-Ismail procedure of a ttaching generating functions to measures.
