Abstract
Fuel accounts for 50 to 80% of all expenses at powerplants, hence mana
ging its acquisition and efficient use represents the front line of de
fense in a competitive environment. More communication, cooperation am
ong electric and gas/oil interests will help ensure these fuels get to
where they are needed across the nation.
