Abstract
The establishment by the Wellcome Trust of two four-year PhD programme s in neuroscience, in which PhD students will study neuroscience in gr eater depth and breadth and be able to make a move informed choice of PhD project and supervisor, marks a commitment to improving the qualit y of graduate training in neuroscience in the UK.
