Abstract
The possibility of air-droplet ceh transmission during cell transfer w as experimentally confirmed, this appearing to be the most probable ro ute of cross contamination of cell cultures. The consequences of such contamination are assessed and measures reducing the risk of intercell ular contamination proposed.
