Abstract
A method of attaching radio transmitters to the tail feathers is descr ibed that permits easy removal and replacement of the transmitter with out damaging the feathers. The transmitter is placed inside a piece of surgical tubing that is then epoxied to the tail feathers. Transmitte r replacement is accomplished by slicing the tubing lengthwise, removi ng the old transmitter and inserting a new one.
