Abstract
This is the second published account of goat kids carried to term afte r IVM, IVF and IVC: cumulus-oocyte-complexes from ovaries of slaughter ed animals were matured in modified TCM-199-medium containing FSH, LH and estradiol-17 beta. Freshly ejaculated semen was subjected to swim- up treatment in heparin-containing DM. Presumptive zygotes were co-cul tured with bovine tubal epithelial cells. After reaching the 2-4-cell stage, embryos were transferred to synchronized recipients. Of two rec ipients, one gave birth to two healthy male kids.
