Abstract
4H-4-oxo-6-R(1)-2-R(2)O-benzopyran-3-ylidenmethyl) derivatives and imi no derivatives of 3-, 4-, 5-aminosalicylic acids were prepared. It was found that some of the synthetised derivatives of 4-aminosalicylic ac id are as effective against typical and atypical strains of mycobacter ia as isoniazid (INH). Interesting activity of some derivatives agains t yeast was also found.
