Abstract
Environmental control is an important step in the control of asthma. M ites, cats and other pets, cockroaches, molds, and cigarette smoke are all important in the etiology of asthma. By decreasing exposure to th ese factors, one can reduce the symptoms of active disease. In additio n, one can decrease the incidence of asthma by avoiding exposure to mi tes from infancy.
