Abstract
Data on the stability of particles in polystyrene suspensions, synthes ized in the presence of organosilicon surfactants of various nature, a s well as data on the diameters and particle-size distribution are pre sented. An increase in hydrophobicity for the surfactants investigated was shown to enhance the stability of the particles in suspension and result in a more narrow diameter distribution.
