CHEMICAL-ELEMENTS LEVELS IN NEEDLES OF PICEA-ABIES (L) KARST IN BIOSPHERE-RESERVE-POCANA

The work deals with the accumulation of chemical elements in spruce ne edles on the territory of Biosphere Reserve Pol'ana. Macrobiogenic ele ments (Ca, Mg, Na, K, P, and S), microbiogenic elements and heavy meta ls (Fe, Mn, Zn, Cu, Pb, and Cd) have been found in taken samples. The element content was evaluated using analysis of variance and Duncan's test. The results obtained in analyses point to a good and even very g ood supply of needles with mineral substances.
