Abstract
The two species described from South of France (Aulacidea freesei, sp. n. and Phanacis zwolferi, sp. n.) are gall inducers in stems of Silyb um maria-num and represent the first known Aylacini species associated with this plant. Aulacidea laurae Nieves-Aldrey, previously recorded only from Spain, is reported from France and its gall, formed in achen es of Scorzonera laciniata (Asteraceae), is described for the first ti me. Aulacidea macula Forsius, 1921, closely allied but not conspecific with Aulacidea laurae, is synonymized with Aulacidea abdominalis (Tho mson, 1877).
