Abstract
It is the first time that the genus Pumilinura Cassagnau, 1979 has bee n recorded in Albany, with two species : P. albanica, sp. n. and P. lo ksai (Dunger, 1973). The 10 species of Albanian Neanurinae are listed. The genus Pumilinura is redefined with a key of its 5 species, Pumili nura hidalgoi Cassagnau & Palacios Vargas, 1983 from Mexico being cons idered as incertae sedis. The relationships of Pumilinura are discusse d on the basis of the unusual characters of its buccal cone and mouthp arts.
