Abstract
In this contribution results are presented of biomass studies of the h erb and moss layers on two semi-natural ecosystems of the central Norw ay - a rich fen community and a wooded grassland community. Obtained r esults are compared from aspects of scything in the three-year cycle ( 1992, 1993, 1994). Different results obtained in the given period are discussed.
