Abstract
The amino alcohol (5) was employed as a common starting compound for t he synthesis of the piperidines (1b), (14), and (16) with three isomer ic tridecadienyl side-chains. The spectral data of the 6'E,8'Z-diene ( 14) are closely resembled with those of natural pseudodistomin A triac etate.
