Cs. Chang et Bs. Thia, EVENT-DRIVEN FUZZY CONTROL FOR AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY RESCHEDULING IN DCRAILWAY SYSTEM, International journal of engineering intelligent systems for electrical engineering and communications, 3(4), 1995, pp. 211-220
This paper proposes the application of predictive fuzzy logic control
in an event driven framework for emergency rescheduling of DC railway
system. In particular, the paper addresses the train dwell-time contro
l. By automatic train rescheduling, the algorithm is designed to provi
de optimal performance associated with regularity, headway, congestion
level and passenger comfort. Studies were carried out to assess the p
erformance of the proposed algorithm, which show an overall improvemen
t of railway performance under a wide range of emergency conditions. R
ailway performance is assessed by a set of performance indices, and th
e aim of fuzzy control is to score the best performance among these in
dices.
