Abstract
After traumatic brain injury, outcome measures can be used to monitor the effectiveness of preventative programmes and of therapy in acute m anagement and rehabilitation. Early prediction of outcome can help wit h the planning of intervention in terms of cost and improving function . Outcome studies have determined that problems with psychosocial adju stment and quality of life are the most important in the long term.
