B. Collier et M. Danielsen, GRBASE, A DATABASE LINKING INFORMATION ON PROTEINS INVOLVED IN GENE-REGULATION, Nucleic acids research, 24(1), 1996, pp. 219-220
The Gene Regulation Database (GRBase) is a compendium of information o
n the structure and function of proteins involved in the control of ge
ne expression in eukaryotes. These proteins include transcription fact
ors, proteins involved in signal transduction, and receptors. GRBase i
s now accessible via the World Wide Web (http://www.access.digex.net/s
imilar to regulate). A key feature of this database is the linking of
each entry to data in other databases. The database is also available
by anonymous ftp (URL ftp://ftp.trevigen.com/pub/Tfactors/) in both te
xt and Filemaker proformats.
