Abstract
We analyzed the level of 8-oxo-2'-deoxyguanosine in lymphocytes DNA of cancer patients undergoing radiotherapy. The results of this work ind icate that exposure of cancer patients to therapeutic doses of ionizin g radiation causes significant increase of the amount of 8-oxo-dG in D NA isolated from their lymphocytes.
