Se. Crow, CLINICAL-TRIALS IN VETERINARY ONCOLOGY - A CLINICIAN VIEWPOINT, The Veterinary clinics of North America. Small animal practice, 26(1), 1996, pp. 29
Review of the veterinary oncology literature is important for keeping
up-to-date, but it can be time-consuming and sometimes frustrating. Re
sults of clinical trials are published in a variety of formats, includ
ing case descriptions, review articles, retrospective studies, and pro
spective trials. They may be found as abstracts, which usually present
preliminary data and interpretation, as interesting items or commenta
ry in a newsletter, or as articles in referred journals. In this ''cli
nician's viewpoint,'' a practical approach to sifting through the moun
tains of literature is offered.
