Abstract
A novel family of six-port reflectometers, designed in hybrid microstr ip-waveguide technology, is presented for high-power applications. In principle, there is no limitation in the input power level and the des ign can be adapted for any waveguide frequency band. A prototype was d esigned for the operational frequency of 2.45 GHz and measurements wer e made as power levels up to 200 W. Thermo-dielectric characterization was carried out on several well known liquids.
