Abstract
The general purpose of person-fit research was discussed earlier in th is issue. In this article, some specific results for the Rasch model w ill be presented, followed by an application to a test measuring knowl edge of reasoning with logical quantors. Some issues raised in this ar ticle are relevant for all attempts to use person-fit statistics in re search, but the special role of the Rasch model will be highlighted.
