REALIZATION OF A PORTABLE MERCURY ANALYZE R SYSTEM

A compact and portable machine for mercury determination has been buil t. Direct measurement are possible on the site without further operati ons in the laboratory. Routine and repetitive determinations are very easy to do with a limit of detection of 70 pg of mercury. In addition, this machine can be used for mercury determinations under ppb value i n water, blood, plasma, urine and various biologic samples. To reach s uch conditions, many technical, mechanical, electronic, chemical and p hysical problems have to be resolved.
