As. Senyuta, METHOD OF DETERMINING THE SURFACE-TENSION OF GALLIUM AT THE INTERFACEWITH AN ALKALINE-SOLUTION, Russian journal of electrochemistry, 31(12), 1995, pp. 1227-1230
On the basis of the sessile drop method, a procedure is developed for
measuring the parameters and calculating the interfacial tension of ga
llium in alkaline solutions at temperatures higher than 40 degrees C,
a procedure insensitive to the evolution of gas bubbles on the metal s
urface and the presence of other local effects. This procedure is quit
e simple and, in a number of cases, can be easily adapted for studying
other liquid-liquid or gas-liquid interfaces.
